Platinum Health Group is a mixed billing practice. Our experienced GP's provide short, standard, long and extended consultations, with Medicare rebates available for eligible patients.
Routine bulk billing during normal consulting hours applies to: age pension card holders; DVA gold card holders; and all children under the age of 5 years.
Concession rates apply to: Healthcare card holders; and those on a disability support pension or carer's pension
Please note that some procedures and treatments may incur additional out-of-pocket costs, which can vary depending on the type and length of your consultation. We encourage you to discuss any fees with our reception team at the time of booking.
Please also note that our after hours services attract a different fee schedule and no discounts apply during after hours periods.

Consultation Types & Appointment Length:
Booking the right consultation length is important. This ensures your needs can be thoroughly discussed and managed during your appointment and helps your Doctor to provide the best possible care. If you are unsure which appointment type to select, our reception team is happy to assist.
Please note: If more than one family member needs to see a GP, please ensure a separate appointment is booked for each person.
Short Consultation A short consultation is used for single, simple items such as script repeats, discussing test results. | Standard Consultation A standard consultation lasts less than 20 minutes, to discuss a single query. |
Long Consultation A long consultation lasts at least 20 minutes to discuss more complex or multiple medical issues. | Extended Consultation An extended consult lasts over 40 minutes to discuss more complex or multiple medical issues. |
